ZetaChain, the simple, fast, and secure omnichain blockchain, has partnered withKYVE, the decentralized data validation protocol, to provide its vast ecosystem with trustless ZetaChain data following its imminent mainnet launch.
With KYVE as an early mainnet supporter, ZetaChain validators will be able to leverage this integration and KYVE’s latest node tool KSYNC to easily sync and join the network. Developers can also leverage the trustless historical data for streamlined ecosystem development, transparency, and overall scalability.
This partnership represents a significant leap forward in the realm of trustless Web3 development, fundamentally enhancing the data experience.
Validators — Sync With ZetaChain From Genesis
ZetaChain, currently on testnet, aims to launch its mainnet in Q1 of this year. In order for its chain to become as decentralized as possible, providing optimal security, it needs validators to properly sync with the network.
Typically, PoS blockchains rely on archival nodes to provide their validators with the data they need to catch up with the network. However, archival nodes have no incentive to run, which typically leads to only a few keeping track of a chain’s historical data. This causes major risks for data loss, centralization, and overall difficulty in accessing the data.
KYVE combats this structure by providing a data validation and transfer protocol, leveraging its own validator network to fetch, archive, and validate all data from a blockchain in a decentralized way and making it accessible to all for free. This ultimately eliminates previous data roadblocks, reduces required resources, and sets a strong data foundation for scalable development.
To further streamline the validator experience, KYVE providesKSYNC, a data syncing tool that enables validators to sync to any historic block or state of a chain’s trustless data via KYVE. Most importantly, one can sync to any historic chain height in under two minutes, something not possible before.
Build Trustlessly
With ZetaChain already having over 1 million testnet users and 200 projects building within its ecosystem, it is destined to bring forward a substantial amount of data as it expands. Providing a freely accessible, trustless backup of its chain is essential to ensure streamlined ecosystem development, transparency, and overall scalability throughout its continued growth.
Via KYVE, developers can leverage ZetaChain’s historical data for building dApps, dashboards, indexers, analyzing trends, market research, and more. KYVE can also be leveraged as data support during hackathons and bounties around ZetaChain’s data. This integration also enables researchers and analysts to analyze on-chain trends or even audit the network.
To further ease the data experience and lower barriers, KYVE also provides a no-code solution calledData Pipelineto import any data made trustless by KYVE into your preferred data backend within just a few clicks. From there, you can transform the data into any format you need to fit your use case.
Prepare For Launch
Both KYVE and ZetaChain are on a mission to ease the Web3 development experience, simplify access, and motivate more builders to join the ecosystem. This partnership and integration are great steps in this mission. KYVE looks forward to supporting ZetaChain from day one and seeing its ecosystem flourish, backed by trustless data.
