Now with more data pools in the works (a second one archiving and validatingOsmosis data has already gone live on our testnet!), new slots are opening, providing more chances for other participants to claim mainnet delegation and join in.

Osmosis data has already gone live on our testnet!

Overall, our goal is to provide a healthy amount of competition in the network, as well as motivate those already familiar with KYVE to continue participating, help secure the protocol layer, promote delegation, and overall, join us in making data a trustless public good.

Did you participate in KYVE’s Incentivized Testnet?Be sure to apply to the KYVE Validator Delegation Program today to check your eligibility for mainnet delegation and continue participating on KYVE. How? In just four steps…

Getting Started

  1. Qualifications

This program is reserved for those ranked 1–2500 on the Korellia Leaderboard. This address is your Korellia address. You have received tokens on Kaon and Mainnet to your payout wallet address. In many cases, people reused the same address here.

**In case you would like to update your wallet address to a more secure wallet for mainnet delegation, you can fill outthis formto change your address.

  1. Create a Protocol Validator on KaonTo apply, one must create a protocol validator on Kaon. You can either use your payout wallet address or use a new one. Make sure you have a secure setup. e.g. ledger, multi-sig, etc., since once this is complete, you can not change your address!

Creating a protocol validator on Kaon will allow you to further test out the protocol and ensure your validator can avoid any slashes possible before going to mainnet.

  1. Fill Out Your Kaon Validator ProfileConfigure a Keybase Identity (with Logo) a Moniker and a security contact. Filling this in is key to providing a more dedicated-looking profile to attract delegation and our support.

Make sure you properly note a reachable security contact.

  1. Apply for DelegationOnce these steps are completed, you will need to fill out our official delegationapplication form. In doing so, our team will be able to check your eligibility for the program.

Eligibility for mainnet delegation is based on if the user has passed their KYC, properly followed steps 1–4, and has successfully created a validator on Kaon.

Application Deadlines

Each week our team checks for new applications as well as updates on old ones in case they have been corrected. Priority, of course, follows the Korellia Leaderboard ranking.

Applications will be ongoing until the program ends; however, to make it into a certain pool’s delegation round, one must be sure to send in their application at least one week before that mainnet data pool goes live. You can stay up to date on when data pools go live byfollowing KYVE’s governanceand or ourFoundation on Twitter.

Mainnet Delegation

The first mainnet data pool had 80 spots open for delegation. For the next three data pools coming to mainnet, 40 spots will open up for each pool to those eligible.

Those elected for mainnet delegation will have one week (the time of the governance voting period) to spin up their mainnet protocol validator with a moniker, identity, and security contact in preparation for receiving their delegation.
