The KYVE Network has successfully integrated with Injective, an interoperable blockchain optimized for building decentralized finance (DeFi) applications such as derivatives exchanges.
Through this integration, KYVE will index data on the Injective blockchain, a Cosmos SDK-based chain that includes an innovative orderbook infrastructure. Since its mainnet launch three months ago, Injective has produced over 8.5 million blocks and processed nearly 40 million transactions. The outstanding performance of the newly-launched chain has naturally led to the creation of a wide assortment of data that KYVE can help organize.
Developers using Injective will now be able to leverage KYVE’s data storage solution to access reliable, verified, and permanently-stored data. In other words, KYVE will gather all of Injective’s blocks and transactions in order to archive that data through KYVE onto Arweave. Thus, data on Injective can be truly decentralized from a storage perspective.
Injective aims to create a free and trustless financial network for everyone built on fully decentralized infrastructure, making it easier for developers to build interoperable applications focused around DeFi.
About KYVE
KYVEis a next-generation protocol that enables data providers to standardize, validate, and permanently store data streams. By leveraging Arweave, the solution ensures the scalability, immutability, and availability of these resources over time, and by using Moonbeam smart contracts, KYVE is EVM compatible. KYVE is backed by top VCs, including Hypersphere Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Mechanism Capital, CMS Holdings, and blockchains such as Arweave, Avalanche, Solana, Interchain, and NEAR.
