KYVE’s time during Devconnect 2023 in Istanbul was nothing short of a success. This was our first time attending, and we didn’t hold back! Visiting over fifteen different side events and participating in three, not to mention, hosting our very first all-day data conference with Chainbase and leading speakers such as BNB, Metamask, Mina, Consensys, Coingecko, and more!

KYVE was thrilled to collaborate with Chainbase and IOSG Ventures in bringing forward the very first Open Data Day, a conference dedicated to all things Web3 data and solving today’s data roadblocks for tomorrow.
From talking data in DeFi to MEV, and exploring next-gen data infra, we covered it all! Huge shoutout to the 300+ attendees, our strategic partner IOSG, and a stellar lineup of speakers and panelists:BNB Greenfield,MetaMask,Polygon,CoinGecko, dexguru,QiDao,The Graph,XDEFI,Spartan Capital,API3,Chronicle,Marlin,SYS Labs,Avalanche,Mina,ZetaChain,LongHash,EigenLayer,Flashbots,CoW,Dragonfly,DODO,Primev,Obol,Kwil,Lit Protocol,Gitcoin,Redstone,Trusta Labs,Automata,Streamr,Linea,Scroll,Taiko,Manta,Mask Network,CyberConnect,Oasis Network,Blocto,SevenX,1inch Hardware Wallet, Alchemy Pay,Halborn,XMTP,Covalent,Lava,Protocol Labs,Ethstorage,Ceramic,Irys, andPermanent Ventures. A few of the many great messages of feedback from the event:
This is just the start of bringing forward like-minded innovators for building the future of data, and KYVE aims to be at the forefront of it.
With data being at the root of all projects and KYVE providing such customizable data tooling, the collaboration opportunities are endless! This is why KYVE aims to take part in as many pertinent events as possible that help shed light on our main mission of decentralization and data in Web3.
In this effort, KYVE had the pleasure of co-sponsoring DAppConnect, the perfect event for DApp developers and enthusiasts to get together for innovative talks, networking, and demos. Hosted by Token Pocket, Sushi, Halborn, Zeta, Hacken, Dragonfly, and Puffer.
On top of this, KYVE’s Head of Ecosystem, Paul Bramas, moderated a panel at Sys Labs’s event Ethereum’s Orbit: Adjacent Architectures, covering the importance of data archiving: data availability, with Nick Prezler from NodeKit, Tiancheng Xie from Polyhedra, Jose Fabrega from Metis, and Anthurine Xiang from EthStorage.
As well as taking part in a panel on Real World Impacts of Data Composability with Kwil, Subsquid, and Phala at the idOS Connect: Data Composability event.
KYVE’s time in Istanbul actually kicked off with Binance Blockchain Week, where our team was able to connect with local communities and look further into KYVE’s opportunities to expand its storage support with BNB Greenfield, BNB’s data storage platform.
Next up was Modular Day, hosted by Hyperlane and Celestia. This was a great event to connect further with the Cosmos ecosystem and get caught up on all the new interchain innovations.
Of course, KYVE had to attend Datapalooza, hosted by The Graph. This was a great data-driven event and held a lot of interesting talks, such as Vitalik’s speech on EIP-4844, or, danksharding, for enhancing Ethereum’s data experience, and overall debate on EIP-04444.
Other captivating events KYVE attended included the Stanford BASS Lite Istanbul event; IBC Istanbul hosted by Polymer Labs; Polygon, DIA, idOS, and Phala Network’s Infra Garden; W3DC Dreamworld; Zee Prime’s Stalin’ Alive event, IOSG’s 10th Old Friends’ Reunion; the Avalanche house; and more. All wonderful opportunities for KYVE to have insightful discussions on today’s data needs, listen in on all that’s new in the space, and meet new possible users.
This was a great way to end 2023’s event season! KYVE’s team is refreshed, full of ideas, and ready to hit 2024 with full momentum. Be sure tofollow KYVE on Twitterto stay up to date on where KYVE will take on next, as well as upcoming online events and hackathons!
