Axelar delivers secure cross-chain communication for Web3, enabling you to build Interchain dApps that grow beyond a single chain. Secure means Axelar is built on proof-of-stake, the battle-tested approach used by Ethereum, Polygon, Cosmos, and more. Cross-chain communication means you can build a complete experience for your users that lets them interact with any asset, any application, on any chain with one click.
KYVE has archived and validated all of Axelar’s historical chain data up to the latest blocks, enabling its ecosystem to leverage KYVE’s latest node syncing tool, KSYNC, to freely and easily sync all blocks from Genesis. One can also sync to a specific block to pinpoint any necessary data or to simply catch up with the network and avoid keeping all of the chain data at once.
In this sense, KYVE acts as a trustless archival node for Axelar, as well as the other chains it supports. Since Axelar requires its node network to support every blockchain it integrates, this demands a lot of resources and management from its node network. Instead, Axelar node runners can also use KSYNC to sync with any other chains supported by KYVE, minimizing time, resources, and reliance on centralized, or unreliable data sources.
By providing all of Axelar’s blocks and block results, KYVE’s data pool also enables users to have free and reliable access to explore interchain accounts, cross-chain message requests, and much more.
How? One can either source the trustless data directly from KYVE’s REST-API or simply leverage KYVE’s Data Pipeline for a no-code data import option. This enables anyone to import all the historical data in raw form into their preferred data backend, then transform the data however they need to either implement directly into their dApps, dashboards, or indexers, as well as for thorough chain analysis.
KYVE’s Axelar data pool is also a wonderful source for any Axelar/cross-chain communication-based hackathons. Providing the historical data they need in minutes so that they can take their time focusing on building out their innovation.
